Turn on two-factor sign-in
Add a 6-digit code from an authenticator app to every sign-in. A stolen password alone gets nobody in.
Two-factor sign-in asks for a 6-digit code from an app on your phone every time you sign in. Your account holds money, so we strongly recommend it.
Turn it on
- Install an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, 1Password, Authy or Bitwarden.
- In the dashboard, open Account, then Security.
- Add the setup key to your app, or open it straight in the app.
- Type the 6-digit code the app shows to confirm.
From now on, every sign-in asks for a code from the app.
Lost your phone?
If you can no longer get codes, contact support from the email address on your account. We verify that it is really you before we switch two-factor off. This can take a little time, so keep a backup of your setup key somewhere safe.
