Game server hosts, VPS providers and bot hosting companies bill through WHMCS, and many of their clients are players first. When a renewal is due, some of them would rather trade a few skins than find a card. The SkinsFlow gateway module gives them that option on every invoice.
The client clicks Pay with skins on the invoice, picks CS2, Dota 2 or Rust items covering the balance due and accepts one Steam trade. SkinsFlow sends a signed notice, the module checks it, reads the payment again from SkinsFlow and records it on the invoice. WHMCS then does what it always does: marks the invoice paid, unsuspends the service, sends the receipt.
Your SkinsFlow balance is in USD. The payment is recorded in the invoice currency using your WHMCS rates, and the SkinsFlow fee of 2.5% is recorded as the transaction fee, so your books match what reached your balance.
Clients pay the open balance of any invoice, including renewals and add-ons.
Payments are added to the invoice automatically with the SkinsFlow payment ID as the transaction ID.
Payments are created in the invoice currency when SkinsFlow supports it, or converted with Convert To For Processing.
The SkinsFlow fee is stored as the transaction fee, so reports show exactly what was credited.
Protected payments appear in the gateway log as pending and are recorded when they settle.
Pay a test invoice with your test secret before clients see the button.
Itens como estes são o que seus clientes trocam. Cada um é avaliado assim que o inventário carrega.
In the SkinsFlow dashboard, add your billing site under Projects & API keys and keep the secrets safe.
Unzip skinsflow-whmcs.zip into your WHMCS root folder. It adds files under modules/gateways only.
In the WHMCS admin open Setup, Payments, Payment Gateways, All Payment Gateways and click SkinsFlow (pay with skins).
Enter the Client ID, API secret and webhook signing secret, and set Convert To For Processing if your invoices use a currency SkinsFlow does not support.
In the SkinsFlow dashboard open your project, Settings, and set the Webhook URL to your WHMCS address followed by /modules/gateways/callback/skinsflow.php.
Turn on test mode, pay a small invoice, check it is recorded, then switch test mode off.
Nothing. The WHMCS module is free to download and use. SkinsFlow charges 2.5% of each payment credited to your balance, and nothing else: no setup fee, no monthly fee, no minimum volume. Failed, expired and returned payments cost nothing.
The payment is created for the open balance of the invoice. If the client sends items worth more than needed, the value shown at checkout is what is recorded.
The invoice currency. When the payment currency matches, the amount is exact; otherwise it is converted with the rates in your WHMCS currency settings.
Steam can hold traded items for up to 7 days and return them to the customer in that window. A protected payment is not counted as paid yet: the gateway log shows it as pending and the invoice stays unpaid. When the hold ends the payment completes on its own, or you can release it early in your SkinsFlow dashboard if you trust the customer.
If you released a protected payment early and Steam later returns the items, the gateway log and activity log say so. Review the invoice and the service it paid for.
Yes. Turn on test mode and use your project's test secret. The checkout then shows real items with real prices but no item and no money moves, and buttons let you play every outcome: paid, protected, returned, declined. Gateway log entries show whether a payment was live.
In WHMCS under Billing, Gateway Log, filtered by SkinsFlow. Secrets are never written to the log.
