One free plugin adds "Pay with skins" to your WordPress store. Customers pick items from their Steam inventory, accept one trade, and the order is marked paid without anyone checking by hand.
Plenty of the people who shop at gaming stores have more value in their Steam inventory than on a bank card. Skins they no longer use sit there, priced and tradable, while your checkout asks for a card they may not have. The SkinsFlow plugin for WooCommerce turns that inventory into a payment method that sits next to your other gateways.
At checkout the customer chooses Pay with skins and lands on the SkinsFlow checkout, or sees it in a window over your store if you prefer. They paste their Steam trade link, pick CS2, Dota 2 or Rust items until the order total is covered, and accept one trade offer in Steam. SkinsFlow tells your store, the plugin double-checks the payment with us, and WooCommerce moves the order to processing or completed like any other paid order.
The value lands on your SkinsFlow balance in USD, minus 2.5%. From there you can request a payout or spend it on skins from our market. Nothing about your products, coupons or emails changes: the plugin only adds a way to pay.
Works with the classic shortcode checkout and the newer Cart and Checkout blocks, and with High-Performance Order Storage switched on.
Send customers to the SkinsFlow checkout, or open it in a window on top of your store so they never leave your site.
When a payment is final, the order is marked paid automatically. The plugin confirms every notice with SkinsFlow first, so a customer can never fake it.
If Steam Trade Protection applies, the order waits on hold and completes on its own when the hold ends. No guesswork for your team.
Customers see the total in your store currency. Your SkinsFlow balance is always in USD.
Switch to your test secret and walk through the whole checkout with real items and no real money.
Items like these are what your customers trade. Each one is valued the moment their inventory loads.
In the SkinsFlow dashboard, open Projects & API keys and add your store as a project. Save the API secret and the webhook signing secret somewhere safe; they are shown once.
In WordPress go to Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin, choose skinsflow-woocommerce.zip and activate it.
Open WooCommerce, Settings, Payments, SkinsFlow. Paste the Client ID, the API secret and the webhook signing secret.
Copy the webhook URL shown under the secret field (your store address with ?wc-api=skinsflow). In the SkinsFlow dashboard open your project, Settings, and paste it as the Webhook URL.
Turn on test mode with your test secret and place an order. When it completes, switch test mode off and enable the method for your customers.
Nothing. The WooCommerce plugin is free to download and use. SkinsFlow charges 2.5% of each payment credited to your balance, and nothing else: no setup fee, no monthly fee, no minimum volume. Failed, expired and returned payments cost nothing.
The currencies SkinsFlow supports at checkout, including USD and EUR. In a store currency we do not support, the method hides itself instead of failing at checkout. Your balance is always credited in USD.
When SkinsFlow confirms the payment. The plugin checks the signature of every notice and reads the payment again from SkinsFlow before it changes the order, so a browser can never mark an order as paid.
Steam can hold traded items for up to 7 days and return them to the customer in that window. A protected payment is not counted as paid yet: the order stays on hold. When the hold ends the payment completes on its own, or you can release it early in your SkinsFlow dashboard if you trust the customer.
A skins payment cannot be pulled back from your side once it is final. To give value back, refund in your store as store credit, or buy skins from our market with your balance and send them to the customer.
Yes. Turn on test mode and use your project's test secret. The checkout then shows real items with real prices but no item and no money moves, and buttons let you play every outcome: paid, protected, returned, declined. Test orders carry a [Test] note in WooCommerce.
Yes. The plugin uses the standard WooCommerce payment method screens, so any theme that shows the normal checkout shows Pay with skins.
