XenForo forums for CS2, Rust and Dota 2 players often fund themselves with account upgrades: supporter badges, extra features, ad-free browsing, access to private sections. The SkinsFlow add-on lets members pay for them with skins.
The member chooses an upgrade, picks the SkinsFlow payment profile, selects items on the SkinsFlow checkout and accepts one Steam trade. SkinsFlow notifies your forum, the add-on confirms the payment and XenForo applies the upgrade.
Payments are credited to your SkinsFlow balance in USD after the 2.5% fee, ready for a payout or for buying skins for your next community event.

Create a project
Add your forum under Projects & API keys in the SkinsFlow dashboard.
Install the add-on
In the admin control panel open Add-ons, Install/upgrade from archive, and choose skinsflow-xenforo.zip.
Create a payment profile
Go to Setup, Payment profiles, Add payment profile, choose SkinsFlow (pay with skins) and paste the Client ID, live secret and webhook signing secret (and a test secret for test mode).
Attach it to upgrades
Edit each account upgrade and tick the SkinsFlow payment profile.
Connect the webhook
Paste https://your-board/payment_callback.php?_xfProvider=skinsflow into your project in the SkinsFlow dashboard as the Webhook URL, then press Send test webhook.
Test, then go live
Buy a test upgrade in test mode, then switch to live.

What does the XenForo add-on cost?
Nothing. The XenForo add-on is free to download and use. SkinsFlow charges 2.5% of each payment credited to your balance, and nothing else: no setup fee, no monthly fee, no minimum volume. Failed, expired and returned payments cost nothing.
Do recurring upgrades renew by themselves?
No. A Steam trade always needs the member to accept it, so each period is paid when it is due. XenForo reminds members as usual.
What happens with Steam Trade Protection?
Steam can hold traded items for up to 7 days and return them to the customer in that window. A protected payment is not counted as paid yet: the upgrade is applied when the hold ends. When the hold ends the payment completes on its own, or you can release it early in your SkinsFlow dashboard if you trust the customer.
What can I sell?
Account upgrades and the features they unlock. Fake engagement such as selling likes or votes is not allowed under our Acceptable Use Policy.
How do refunds work?
A final skins payment is not reversed from your side. Extend the upgrade, or send skins bought from our market.
Can I test before going live?
Yes. Turn on test mode and use your project's test secret. The checkout then shows real items with real prices but no item and no money moves, and buttons let you play every outcome: paid, protected, returned, declined. Test upgrades never reach your live balance.
