Make your Steam inventory public
The checkout can only see your items when your Steam inventory is public. It takes one setting.
If your inventory is private, the checkout cannot see what you own and shows an empty list or an error. Switching it to public fixes that.
How to make it public
- In Steam, open your profile and click Edit Profile.
- Go to Privacy Settings.
- Set My profile to Public.
- Set Inventory to Public.
- Changes save on their own. Go back to the checkout and click Reload.
Still empty?
- Steam can take a few minutes to show a newly public inventory. Wait a moment and click Reload again.
- Check the game tabs at the top of the checkout. Your items might be in CS2, Dota 2 or Rust.
- Items you just received may be trade-locked for a few days. See I can't see my items.
You can set your inventory back to private once your payment is complete.
