The trade offer expired or was declined

Trade offers from the checkout are only valid for a limited time. The checkout shows a countdown while you wait.

What happened

• The offer was not accepted in time. It expired before you accepted it in Steam.
• The offer was declined or cancelled. It was declined in Steam, or Steam cancelled it, for example because an item was no longer in your inventory.
• The time to pick items ran out. The checkout waited too long for items to be selected.

In every one of these cases nothing was taken from your inventory. The checkout says "Payment not completed".

What to do next

Go back to the shop and start a new payment. You get a fresh checkout and a fresh trade offer.

If you accepted the offer in Steam but the checkout still says it failed, open a support request with your order number. We will check it.
